Your tax-deductible donation to Pusod supports innovative public programs that further our mission to protect and enhance the ecosystems of the Philippines, and to show their significance to the world. However you wish to contribute, you can choose from a variety of ways to participate and to give.
Tax-deductible donations are made through Pusod¹s parent organization and U.S. partner, the Babilonia Wilner Foundation (BWF), a federally registered non-profit organization under the U.S. Internal Revenue Code 501(c)(3).

Give the Gift of a Balikas Subscription
Please give the gift of a yearly subscription of our award-winning educational newspaper to a community that needs it. You may choose your own hometown or barangay; a classroom or school; fisherfolk or farmers’ organization or any group you wish. Or you can leave it to us to choose for you. Just specify on our donation webpage or call us.
Scholarships for Training Programs
Balikas also needs scholarships for training programs to enhance the skills of our community and staff journalists and photographers. This not only provides local people the ability to speak up for themselves and their communities, but is also a long-term employment opportunity that gives them a chance at a better future.

Our accomplishments are made possible largely through community volunteers. In fact, Pusod’s US operations run solely on volunteer efforts.
